Phoenixx from the ashes
Here i want to tell you how our phoenixx project started
In September 2018 i bought this african import animal at the Hamm show from an import company .....i had never seen such an interesting dark import ball python and i was sure there has to be something genetic going on.I felt in love within 3 seconds
The only issue was: The price was f...... high ....so i was running from table to table and wanted to check all the other stunning snakes ,but i was not able to think about any other animal ...............
After walking the 5th time to the companys table i decided to invest and bought this stunner.
Fortunately i made a few good deals on selling snakes there ,so i invested the complete money i earned and a bit more to get this unproven very special african boy.
This was the beginning of the PHOENIXX PROJECT
This was the first pic i made from him when we arrived at home..... i was so glad that i bought him
I raised this boy up and paired him the following year with a normal looking female to see if something genetic is going on
The female gave me 8 perfect eggs....i was soo exited and could not imagine how the babys will look
Honestely i expected the babys to look exactly like the father and guess what .......they looked different from normals but not as dark and spectacular than their father.
The first moment i was a bit unhappy and depressed.
But after a second look i saw that they were very special and unique
We raised them up and did pairings with each other to see if there is a super or something recessive
And yes .......................THERE WAS A SUPER.................we were so happy about
The following pictures are showing the pure RACECHIP(Super Phoenixx)without any other genes !!!!
The super was very impressive ,had a black background colour with very busy circled and yellow shining alien heads ..and it had a wide head with a very special drawing looking like ears ...we were so sadisfacted how the super looks
I showed the first to my girlfriend and she said :OH wow this animal looks like a racecar and so the name RACECHIP was born
Unfortunately the original african boy was a very lazy breeder and after some years he died so i cant do backbreedings with him
But meanwhile i created a lot of combos with his offspring and also a lot of supers .....but at the moment at a state that i avoid pairings with multible gene combos ,because i want to see with wich genes the Poenixx gene is working well and the goal is to combine this good looking combos with each other to create animals what will be spectacular with the super Phoenixx named the RACECHIP
In the following i will show a few combos with single gene Phoenixx and also the super /Racechip
I hope you are not overloaded now from the many pics ,but i couldnt decide what i take and what not :-)
There are some other Projects with Phoenixx running ,but i will show in future
I have so many ideas what to combine with this fantastic gene ,but i have only one life and not the posibilities to do everything.
ATM only a handful breeders in the world have the phoenixx gene and there is sooo much potential to make with
